The aurora is one of the most beautiful and romantic natural wonders, appearing only in the cold, remote high-latitude regions under clear night skies. Murmansk, the largest city within the Arctic Circle, is renowned as the "Capital of the Arctic" and is one of the best places in the world to see the aurora. Despite its Arctic location, Murmansk's port stays ice-free year-round thanks to the North Atlantic Current. Next winter, let's journey to Murmansk, Russia, and chase the dazzling aurora together!
